Stacey, The chain fence at left is too dark and heavy, not needed. The focus is on the dog who's raring to go. Perhaps reshoot with the dog chained but no fence? The gold display type doesn't have enough contrast, is hard to read. The idea is good, Be more daring with the type, less formulaic in terms of looking like an ad.
